We demo'd this rifle with a Meprolight M21 reflex sight at the CSAAA Industry Range Day event on Monday June 5th in Ottawa with our dealers and we received plenty of positive feedback!

We need a replacement lower that is the same but has a built in thumb safety! Thats the reason I do not and will not own any T97 until it has been fixed

Also: please consider a x39 model with a VZ mag well. This would get us closer to the QBZ-95 design. And make this a viable hunting platform!

The T97.ca Lower Hand Guard does that. But it also costs $400 bringing the rifle to $1700. Not exacly a cheap plinker anymore.

Gen 1 was okay, nice entry, Gen 2 was an improvement but not quite there, early adopter on both and paid far too much. I'm sure that Gen 3 is where it's at, fingers crossed =)

Did they improve the mag well at all? I heard it was hard to insert/remove basically anything not a USGI style mag.

My current T97 jams every 30 rounds or so... Unless the feed ramps have been fixed, it's a no go for me.
