The Flexible Cleaning Rod - VFG Pocket Set

How long is the "rod"? I find some too short for my longer barreled rifles and shotguns.
Thanks.

The nylon coated stainless steel rope is about 100cm long. It has a little ball at the end that connects to the included disc. So the rope only needs to stick out about 1cm to attach the disc and be able to pull it through the barrel.

Ballistol Oil & Grease - My ARs love them both

Have you tried this little gadget yet? Also works great in combination with Ballistol Cleaning agents!!! All available at TESRO Canada.

My ARs (especially the BCL102) really like the Ballistol GunCer oil on and in the BCGs

I actually like my milspec AR triggers now that I have put a dab of the Ballistol GunCer grease on the moving and mating parts, especially the sear. The angled take-up is smooth and acts as a first stage, then although still heavy compared to all the fancy aftermarket triggers, the trigger breaks nice and clean. It has saved me a lot of money, and I can still squeeze sub-MOA 5-shot groups out of my BCL102 at 100 yards. By the way, I will need to order more of the grease soon, or maybe stop by next time I am in Ottawa.

The VFG Pocket Set is great too. I bought it a while back, plus felts for all the calibres I own, and the whole kit, plus room to spare, fits in one of those small ammo totes. I grab just what I need when I go to the field, and yes it fits in a pocket and is less bulky than my earplug case.

Asmir and Miriam are fantastic people to deal with as well.
