The new SR1911® in 10mm Auto features the same Bomar-style adjustable sights as the SR1911® Target model. It also has a tight-fitting, bushingless bull barrel - a first for Ruger. The ramped barrel is black nitride coated to reduce the wear associated with hard-hitting 10mm Auto ammunition. Another first for Ruger, this model also utilizes a full-length steel guide rod for the recoil spring. The SR1911® in 10mm Auto has rubberized grip panels for extra control and comfort.

Precision CNC-controlled machining process results in a superior slide-to-frame fit and smooth slide travel.

The bushingless stainless steel bull barrel provides additional weight at the muzzle for improved recoil control, aided by a full length guide rod.

Ramped barrel is nitrided for maximum durability.

Positive barrel lock-up allows for superior accuracy out of the box.

Traditional design with replaceable grip panels and checkered backstrap.

Lightweight, aluminum, skeletonized trigger features an adjustable over-travel stop and provides a very crisp, no creep, light trigger pull with a quick, positive reset.

Skeletonized hammer is lightweight and provides faster cycling.

Oversized beavertail grip safety provides positive function and reliability.

Extended thumb safety and slide stop lever for improved, positive manipulation.

Integral plunger tube for slide stop and thumb safety is not staked and will never come loose.

Oversized ejection port and extended magazine release enhance competition performance.

Visual inspection port allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber.

Features a flat mainspring housing and rear slide serrations for a positive grip.

Accepts standard, aftermarket 1911 parts and accessories.

Classic, original 1911 Series 70 design.

Also includes: swaged link pin; titanium firing pin; two stainless steel magazines.

Can get some spare mag no problem, rough price I believe would be $55.00 a piece, these would be Kimber STS mags.

Ugh... I've wanted it ever since it was announced (so...a week ago)

Love you guys, but I hate paying the 8% tax in MB. I may just have to try my luck this weekend, if it qualifies for the scratch n sniff discount.

    When is delivery anticipated?

Currently unknown due to being very new, and I stopped guessing on Ruger lead times after the great Ruger shortage of '13!
But jokes aside nothing right now for ETA, and not having it in stock means I can't give ya a scratch ticket!

    Fair enough

I'm just getting into the 10mm game. Ordered an RIA 2 weeks before this was announced. Should have waited another half month

But I had an SR1911 back in 2012 that I should have never sold. Pretty sure this one is the replacement for it
