Two reasons - I can leave the gate up on the elevation drum and make paint marks on the teeth to mark my 100, 200, 300yd, etc zeroes. The other, I can't find a 7.62x39 prismatic optic for sale.

Primary arms have an awsomme prism compact scope with 7.62x39 reticle. Those built like a tank.

    Build one.

This is an other CZH2003 Dlask fixed up for me. Headspace was too tight so they reamed it out a bit. Runs like a top! This one took some fitting to get the NEA upper rail and Magpul heat shield to mash together.

Overall I am pleased with the Zhukov conversion. No regrets. Plus the mil-spec buffer tube came from Dlask

Great looking gun. I need to find myself a good two point sling as well - what are you using?

Blue Force Gear NSN VCAS. By far my favourite sling.

Thanks for the post, a friend and I are thinking of doing this as well. It's nice to see a finished product.
