Is it true that we can not get 8.5 Grizzlys anymore?

I got my order of 8 mm. I was surprised to see each piece of brass is laser engraved. Do they take out the powder? Also I thought it was funny about the best before date.

Yes, it is all about complying with Russian regs.

Sorry, still a little confused about the 8 mm. So it was all sealed up since 1939, no signs of corrosion? The powder and primers have been replaced, or just primers? Any idea on FPS put out on them?

Correct, shiny and new. Only the primer is replaced. Velocity is 2500fps

Is there any advantage/disadvantage with zinc vs lead?

Been on the fence about this for a while, to hell with it I'm grabbing some 8mm tmrw, a lot of us begged for this stuff for a long time.

Anyone have any accuracy reports with this stuff? Buying either way just curious

Just ordered 'a couple' of boxes of 8mm. Thanks for bringing it in, greatly appreciated. Will order more once the bank account recuperates.

Works great and is quite nice for nearly 80 year old surplus. When I saw this deal I went and got an M48 Mauser and cleaned it up. Grouped very nicely!
