Quick question:

I have an MPA-TS I got a few years ago. It runs like a champ and it's my 3-gun shotgun.

The only quibble I have is that I keep scorching myself on the barrel doing reloads (3-gun: barrels get hot, nature of the beast). I notice with the current line of MP shotguns (both the mag fed and now the pumps) they've added a barrel shroud. Is it possible to get the shroud as an add-on for the older guns?

p.s. Really happy with the MPA-TS. A few guys at our club run them, and they're tanks. 3-gun breaks things (everything) that can be broken, but these guns hold up to it.

The heat shields are not compatible with older barrels/receivers. You might be able to install one yourself, but it would require drilling and threading the barrel lug which would void the warranty.

No action pics, but here's an older pic of it with my 3-gun AR (a Windham)... I run a red dot on the shotgun now, and both look a lot more "lived in" (read: banged up) now.



Nice thing about the Hatsan's is there is plenty of aftermarket accessories for them now... You can really set it up the way you want.
