In our personal opinion the quality, look and feel of the NANUK are much better than the pelican. We have personally switched all of our cases from our previous pelicans to this brand. Opening and closing the cases is much smoother, the handles are spring loaded or snap in depending on the model and the wheels also feel much nicer.
