There's a really rotten tree stump by my place where I might be able to recover some bullets. I'm guessing that mine will also mic out at 308. I think my set of Lee Precision dies come with .311 and .308 sizers. If I can retrieve a bullet, I'll report back.

I like the stock on this rifle, even if it has flex. This could affect the accuracy. It might be best just to unfloat the stock with bedding? I read earlier that a boyd's stock will allow for better aftermarket magazines, but i worry about putting too much lipstick on a pig.

Someone mentioned the ridiculous muzzle brake has loctite, I'm going to ask a gunsmith how much heat it requires to loosen this, probably just warm up the tip of the brake until the base is hot to the touch and go from there.

If the flex in the wrist area bugs you, JB weld the trigger guard in place. Makes a world of difference.

If it's the forend that bugs you, you can add something rigid (arrow shafts are a common option) and epoxy it in place.

How would a boyds stock allow for detachable magazines? Do they make ones inletted for a dbm kit or something?

Hi all -- is it just me or does the North Sylva website require you to log-in to use any of the features? Using the search bar, or clicking on any of the links takes me to a log-in page. Why do i have to log in to browse the store? All i want to see is how much this rifle costs, and how much mags would cost.

Also i heard North Sylva makes one-piece side-rail scope mounts for the CZ, and i would love to get one IF I COULD BROWSE THEIR WEBSITE.

Pretty sure they are a supplier to retailers. You cannot purchase items directly from them.
    Prost!

I like the Savage but it's priced too high for what you get. At least Savage had the stones to bring one out. I talked to the Marlin people many times at the SHOT SHOW about chambering their lever gun in 7.62X39 but my comments fell on deaf ears.

Interestingly, Firearms Outlet Can... In Ajax had the Howa bolt gun with an installed scope & bipod for C$799.00. A better deal I think. The CZ version is probably the best quality but for C$1100.00?
