Q1) Is an ambidextrous ejection port important to you when buying a firearm?
Option 2: No, I would buy it anyways

Q2) Is an ambidextrous charging handle important?
Preferred, but Option 2: No, I would buy it anyways

Q3) Do you prefer side charging handles or an AR15 style charging handle?

If Non reciprocating Option 1: I prefer side charging handles (Left or Right side of the firearm)

Q4) Does "Take Down" matter? Do you care if you can separate the rifle easily to make it more compact?
Preferred, if done well , otherwise doesn't matterOption 1: I prefer my firearms to have a "Take Down"

Q5) Does weight matter to you?
Within reasons, Option 1: Yes, I want everything to be as lightweight as possible

Q6) Weight Savings - Would you pay slightly more to save more weight?
Option 1: Pay more for better lighter materials

Q7) What kind of barrel? We want to build the best rifle package at the most competitive price possible.
Preferred, Option 2: Slightly more expensive Stainless Steel - No Rust
Higher end version? Option 3: High-end Stainless Steel Carbon Fiber Wrapped - BEST!

Q8) What kind of forend / handguard?
Full top rail, rail segment option for 3-6-9 , Option 2: I only need a top and bottom rail

Q9) Do you care if firearms are made in Canada?
Preferred, Option 1: Yes! I support Canadian Business - If price is fair
I wont lie, price considered, Option 2: Don't Honestly Care, pricing is most important

Q10) Price Point - What price do you think would be fair for an incredible Canadian made Non-Restricted firearm like this
    Option 2: 1000-1300 , 1500 max

My suggestion would be make a NR PPSH clone in 9mm, and 7.62x25..... Haha. I'd be 100% sold

As far as the other NR Carbine goes... I'd suggest something aluminum & blowback that takes pistol mags in the grip, much like a CX4 or SUB, this greatly reduces the length of the carbine making it feel more compact and better balenced. Other key features being, takes AR trigger, handguard, buffer tube, AR safety, threaded barrel, SS would be nice to prevent weather corrosion, barrel and handguard detaches similar to ASR, built in irons. And keep it under $2000 CAD.

If you make it ambi please, add an ejection port cover for the unused side.
That doesn't happen on the ASR tho, like ever.

I'd also second this.... If done right and NR, this will fill a huge hole on the market and probably sell better than any full length Carbine.

Q1) Is an ambidextrous ejection port important to you when buying a firearm?
Ambi ejection no, but "lefty friendly" is important. Ex. I would not buy some carbines because the ejection was too close to my face and I would "eat" un-burned powder.
Like Kel-Tec Sub-2000 was too short.
But AR15 type with ejection "bump" is ok. So distance to face is important, if it is not ambi. LOP adjustment can cover that.

Q2) Is an ambidextrous charging handle important?
Option 1: I only buy firearms that are capable of ambi charging

Q3) Do you prefer side charging handles or an AR15 style charging handle?
    AR15 type, since I am a lefty.

Q4) Does "Take Down" matter? Do you care if you can separate the rifle easily to make it more compact?
Option 2: I wouldn't ever, or very rarely use that feature

Q5) Does weight matter to you?
Option 2: I don't care how heavy it is!

Q6) Weight Savings - Would you pay slightly more to save more weight?
Option 2: Heavy and cheap works for me

Q7) What kind of barrel? We want to build the best rifle package at the most competitive price possible.
Option 2: Slightly more expensive Stainless Steel - No Rust
Option 3: High-end Stainless Steel Carbon Fiber Wrapped - BEST!

Durability and precision are my main criteria.

Q8) What kind of forend / handguard?
Option 3: I prefer a simple round handguard with no rails or very limited

Or something we can add a rail to it.

Q9) Do you care if firearms are made in Canada?
Option 2: Don't Honestly Care, pricing is most important

Q10) Price Point - What price do you think would be fair for an incredible Canadian made Non-Restricted firearm like this
    Option 2: 1000-1300

    Thanks! Sorry no FB.
And I love bullpups, but that is feature shopping :-)

Q4) Does "Take Down" matter? Do you care if you can separate the rifle easily to make it more compact?
We plan on developing a 1 second, tool-less twist lock release that separates the Barrel and hand guard together as one piece from the receiver Allowing super compact storage, and easy cleaning
Option 1: I prefer my firearms to have a "Take Down"
Option 2: I wouldn't ever, or very rarely use that feature

So would this mean that you could swap barrels? Like swapping a AR15 5.56 upper with a 7.62x39? But in this case a 9mm with a 45 ACP barrel? Or even better, if the 45ACP was actually chambered in 460 Rowland so that a guy could carry a compact carbine in a potent cartridge in the woods. I have a couple of 9mm Beretta CX4 carbines, always thought if they were in 460 Rowland they would be awesome bush guns.

Lofty goals for the sub $1400 price tag. I'd definitely be interested.

1/2- Couldn't care less. I can see how ambi stuff would be appealing to lefties, but I shoot right. So meh.
3- Side! Side, non reciprocating?... Is that a thing?
4- Not super important. Takedowns are neat, but that's about the extent of my interest in them.
5- This matters, lightweight = good! (I currently shoot a JR carbine occasionally at steel challenge, would be nice if it were lighter!)
6- Would pay slightly more for weight savings, yup!
7- I'd probably opt for a straight SS barrel, but wouldn't be upset about a carbon wrapped SS barrel.
8- Something like picatinny on top, and MLOK on the bottom/sides would be ideal, IMO. Nice and light, but without eliminating the possibility of adding accessories/rail sections. NO KEYMOD!
9- If the price difference wasn't outrageous, I'd much prefer if it were made in Canada.
10- Honestly, 1300-1600 or more would be fair for what you've proposed. Would love to see one for less though! :D
