The thing is your time is priceless. You'll never get 30 minutes of your life wasted back again.

Instead of letting someone waste something priceless be a big boy about it and do something. If staff is ignoring you then stand Infront of then and start talking. Or wander behind the counter or into an office, guarantee someone will interact with you.

I like my local gun store...

Me: "Hey, Randy! I wanna buy somthing!"

Randy: "we don't have anything made in the 1950s on consignment yet.. and I'm still not inviting you over to my house to finger through my collection."

Me: "ok, see you next week"
"There's a big ... machine in the sky, ... some kind of electric snake ... coming straight at us."
    "Shoot it," said my attorney.
"Not yet," I said. "I want to study its habits.

Nothing like bad service to kill a deal. If I were managing a place like that the employees would be ripped a new arse.

A gun store in NB lost my interest. I dropped in to purchase a handgun and a carbine. Not one person offered any assistance. After asking twice to look at a hand gun and being told that it was sold I asked about the carbine. I wanted a specific caliber, again, not in stock but many in a different caliber which they tried to sell me. I left and never went back. I now purchase my items on line. The worst thing about buying on line is you cannot pay cash which I prefer to use.
If you can't be out of sight, you best be out of range.
