We had a Benelli M4 came in with a bulged barrel many moons ago and I just uncovered it in the basement. The barrel has a slight bulge in it 3/4 of the way down. other that that it is in new condition. Gun comes as is without warranty, sale is final. Find a barrel, worlds coolest wall hanger, dewat it..... The world is your oyster.

I wouldnt buy this I am just interested for conversations sake. If you never shot slugs out of this how dangerous is shooting with a bulged barrel. I have no idea the type of pressures shotguns endure but I imagine #4 shot or smaller is nothing compared to slugs?
My question is, where would you get a barrel and what would that cost?
Probably better to describe this as a M4 parts kit. All you need to make a SAFE firearm is a functioning barrel.

Not a bad deal for someone willing to do the legwork. Barrel to the door should run just over a grand cdn, if there aren't any issues getting it. So, someone is into a brand new M4 for approximately $2300-ish.
Aren't M4s about $2400-$2600 new?
