The 805 is more attractive than the 806, in my opinion, and since I don't really care about NR, please bring SBR pistols in FDE in! That would be the hotness.
How are you guys making out with CZ on getting them to send the TDP across for the RCMP? How long until you expect to have more material/information to provide their "laboratory"?

If you get your hands on the 7.62x39 variant I would be curious to know if the mag is compatible with the standard AR mag well and thus could be used in XCR or x39 ARs.
There isn't really a Bren 805 in 7.62 Russian. The 805 in 7.62 Russian was listed as a calibre in the family of weapons years ago in the "grand plan", by the time they found out they actually need to make one to get into competition, the weapon has evolved from the 805 to 806.
I think you probably know the answer already, 806 uses AK mags. No manufacturer will purposely choose to use AR style mag in a military oriented weapon to run a highly tapered 7.62 Russian round.
While the CZ has bought 2000 806 in 2016, the CZ has 17,000 ish 805 in inventory. Considering the size of CZ army, the 805 probably will stay as the main weapon for awhile while the 806 goes to the tip of the spear battalions / special forces.
I do expect to see 805 will fade away like the TAVOR does, as older weapon get worn out or pushed down to the reserves units or war stock. Consider the first 805 entered CZ army in 2011 and the last in 2015, I will say the 805 line probably has 5 to 6 more years to go to support the existing stock, and then they will toss the oldest one, overhaul the newer ones in the fleet and have them sent to the reserves.
