Pistols are originally designed and the design registered as such and same with rifles once a rifle always a rifle, once a pistol always a pistol.
Well then just wait for the Ruger Charger Mark II to come out.

    I love your thinking.

That is why I asked if it fits into the same stocks as the Ruger 10-22. Best to think like thieves to thwart them than to end up robbed...

Should this be moved to the politics forum if you want to discuss this further? Let's not bog down this cool item that DLASK is offering.

By your way of thinking and if you want to entice the RCMP into this, you are throwing all of us firearm owners under the bus.

I will purchase a DLASK TUF-22 when it is available.

If the tuf22 fits into a charger stock, all that's needed is to cut the barrel and submit the monstrosity for an FRT, and there you go, back to square 1.

I wish the DAR .22s were available with either no or a removable rail for us stubborn guys who insist on having iron sights.

A charger stock going onto a ruger 10/22 doesn't turn it into a pistol.
Why the hell would it matter if a charger stock fits the tuf22?

    This guy gets it.
I'll be grabbing a striped receiver or 2 to change my 10/22's over.
Question:will current mags fit in the magwell aswell? Or only the new mags?

Why the hell should it matter if a magazine design created in 1964 and then a pistol created to use those magazines in 2007, 43 years later, suddenly require the magazines to be considered 'designed to be dual-purpose' and this be pinned to a maximum of 10 rounds as per pistol regulations?

I think what Dlask Arms is doing is AMAZING!!! I am evening thinking of buying a barrelled TUF-22 action to replace the 10/22 heavy barrel I have (already upgraded trigger). However, it's going to really pi$$ me off it to invest in half a dozen 25 round magazines that will have to be pinned to 10 rounds as well because the RCMP decides it matters.

I am asking for an answer to the devil's advocate question to be considered so we don't all get f#&ked over by the RCMP yet again.

At the very least so I know if my whole 10/22 is only going to swap over the upgraded bolt and trigger, and not the stock.

"Once the RCMP issue the FRT for this new rifle (submitted already) we will be able to sell these, so please be patient until then."

Why all the debate on legality, just wait until the process is completed and buy or not buy, sometimes some of the comments on this forum are so frustrating to read !!!
