Hey Dlask, with a week or so passed, did you get a response from the RCMP?
Also, once approved, how long before they're available? Looking to build another 10/22 before summer ends
We were handed off from the person that originally got our request up to the 'Lab'. My guess is the gentleman that originally got it does not have the authority to authorize something as contentious as the TUF-22 and handed it up the ladder to management who will now look at it.
I emailed again yesterday but have not heard back yet.

Those wait times are usually only for brand new FRT entries. This would certainly fall under a sub or child FRT entry under the Ruger 10/22's existing FRT.
You would think, huh....? lol.

The TUF-22 is simply an engineered upgrade to the 10/22 platform rifle so to cure the dreaded FTF and stoppage issues common with using 15 & 25 round aftermarket magazines in a standard 10/22.

I always get fte when using Winchester ammo in 25rnd mags
