P320 Voluntary Trigger Upgrade

I am also a 320 owner and we understand this is a concern to all 320 owners and we are listening and we do care very much. Sig Sauer & MD Charlton have always looked after the concerns of the Canadian Consumer and this is no different. Please be patient you will be looked after and advised shortly.

You're assuming they'll be allowed into competition after this fiasco...

That's a really good point/question.

Had a brief chat with someone in the know and they stated that IPSC World currently has no intention of disallowing them in competition.

Having said that, I will continue using mine but will bring a P226 along just in case a Match Director or Range Officer has a different interpretation.

Sig Sauer has put the recall info on their main page. Click on the 320 Recall at the top.

Reading the info, they do not yet have a system in place for us north of the border. Regardless, the time lines they have for U.S. customers, leads to weeks in waiting and in turn around time from the factory. And they must ship the whole gun for testing, not just the trigger group.

So, we are looking at months down the road for us.

My understanding is that they require the whole gun because part of the fix involves milling a part of the internal slide to fit the new parts.

We can now be included in the upgrade.

This link is where you can become registered for the upgrade.

Any boxes that require agency name etc., just put Consumer, or the form will kick back and not retain any info you have put in.

I am sure it will take months for things to be done.

I hope any local certified Sig armorers can do the job saving us time.

I believe they all have to go back to MD Charlton, so first come first served?

What do you do if your serial number indicates that your P320 was originally intended for the US market? I'm the second owner and purchased from another local cgn member about a year ago.

I'm still waiting, but will update when I hear.

I read an FAQ on the Sig site where they say all work must be done at the factory because the slide has to be milled to accept a new disconnector. They estimate 4-6 weeks turnaround but it will be longer than that I'm guessing.
