I would say $300-$350 for an all matching correct stock, not the 38/44 version.
I bought a 38/38 for $550 but could not sell it to recoup my cost! But I did learn my lesson! Never buy on impulse!

Seems to me guys list them for $400-$450 for nice ones with M38 stock. They sit on the EE for a while and a few btt's before they consider to talking offees for lower and then finale sell. $350 ones with M44 stocks sell in good time but not instantly so that's where I think I the market sits with them.
For me it's all about the wood, gotta have a good stock, the rest can always be replaced

Saw one at a show today for $500. I considered that to be very optimistic.

I picked up a nice m44 a couple of weeks ago... and have been looking for a m38. I think there is about 3 or 4 on the EE right now... about 400 give or take.
