It's on the list of 3. From what I've been able to deduce through my research is that if you enjoy the mil spec type trigger the ACT is as good as it gets. If you want something more "capable" look at TriggerTech or Geiselle. In hindsight I wish instead of buying a DD LPK that I had gotten the ALG kit with no trigger, and an ACT. Would have been about the same money and I'd have gotten a better trigger. The only reason I haven't changed out my trigger already is that as far as LPK triggers go, mine's pretty good. So my current debate is "Do I get an ACT and possibly change it out later, or do I just go right for the Geiselle now and skip the middle man?"
love mine....smooth travel, crisp break and a nice sharp reset. Best value for an upgrade trigger in my opinion. I have 2 now..getting a 3rd as soon as my 102 get here

Thanks rkm, I'm used to my milspec triggers now so for the price, the ACT sounds like a better value than a Timney, Geisselle or Triggertech. I don't mind a clean 4.5lb pull at all!

comparing a Geiselle to the ACT is like comparing a VW jetta to *(insert and fancy race car of your choice here)*
Geiselle is in a whole different legue

I'm running the ACT on two of my rifles and I find the triggers to be great. They're like Glock, boringly reliable, everything you need, nothing you don't, and is a huge improvement over a hi-point(milspec trigger). I find them very smooth and crisp on the break, and you can still run the living hell out of them.
In my honest opinion, if a standard curved trigger shoe is what you want, get the ACT.
If you want something more Gucci like a flat faced trigger, go with a geissele.
The only types of triggers I stay away from are any of the "closed trigger pack" design like the CMC or trigger tech, only because they're by design (and proof) to be somewhat less than reliable than the typical open design.
If anyone is on the fence about upgrading a basic milspec to one of these, trust me on this and just do it.
The ALG ACT is a phenomenal trigger, especially for the price.
I survived the gun control scare of 2013 and all I got was this t-shirt.......
And 30 PMags, 5000 rounds of .223, 3000 rounds of 9mm, 5 BCG's, 5 stripped lowers, and a really pissed off wife.
