Ok, we'll see, I guess. Do you know when the Lee shipment is due?

Any SP3? The burn rate is somewhere between 2400 and H110, so it might work ok for margum pistols.
I'll wait until you get the Lee shipment to pass my next order. Don't raise prices till then

    What about the BA7.5?

Seems to be a much faster rate of burn, made to be versatile in popular handguns like 9mm, 45ACp and 40SW, kind of like hp38 does. I'm fairly certain one could reload low or mid-power 44magnum with it for a revolver, but I want to use it for a desert eagle, so I need high-powered 44mag and 50AE to cycle the action. They specifically made Ba6.5 for high powered handgun magnums.

I'd try SP3 on the off chance that it would be sufficient to cycle the action, a bit like H4227 works fine without being optimal. If you don't have either, no biggie, I might very well be the only taker for these 2 powders in the whole country. I kind of had hope to replace H110 (at 40$/lb) with Ba6.5 (at 25$/1.1lb, and slightly lower charge for the same velocity), and looking at the burn chart and the load data, it might be possible, but not 100% sure. If it can replace H110 without much loss of accuracy, it would be a slam dunk.

A desert eagle is a really fun toy, but it behaves like a princess as far as ammunition goes. It's the gun equivalent of a high-maintenance chick.
