True, but I would need a 16" barrel though.

For me it depends on what you like. If you like the look and the ergonomics of the skorpion, then no. But I like the look of the sig, so yes lol.

In the end, they are both 9mm firearms that do essentially the same thing. The choice really comes down to looks and ergonomics.

Agreed. I dont get this? if it is a PISTOL then it should be pinned to 10. Like every other pistol.

I like it, It looks like the spawn of a Scorpion and a BRS 99. What's with all these pistols pinned at 5?

    I. Love. Mine. It is so small it fits into my range bag, awesome to shoot with very little recoil. Comes with a small pile of goodies. Can't speak to accuracy as I haven't really had a chance to put it through its paces yet (and am waiting on my Aimpoint), but so far this is my new favourite toy.

Because the mags also fit thr carbine, hence 5. You can thank rcmp for using the dictionary and discovered the word dual-purpose

For example the BRS-99 that could be changed to NR with a barrel change.
The CZ scorpion evo carbines that are being brought into the country which include the restricted barrel as well.
The 18" barrels which were made so the Bushmaster ACR 's could be reclassified as NR

I am sure there are other examples; these are just a quick few I thought of
Not correct. The first batch that came in with the wolfs were registered as pistol, you can put a 50 foot long telephine pole barrel and its still be restricted.

The carbine version coming on the next batch can be de-restricted by having an 18.5inch barrel.

Read the wolfs thread. I wanted to say you are right but the CZ example is well irrevelant. Then you bring in the ACr, magpul/bushmaster never produced a pistol ACR.

I will pay you 500$ if you can register a ruger 10/22 charger to NR by putting the carbine barrel on it.

You need to read up on the difference between a carbine/rifle vs a pistol.

Or you do what I did first time shooting in the US and only load 5 rounds...... and when asked if this was a training drill say YES without looking like an idiot.
