    Probably the same reason the .410 rounds are so much more than .22lr.

    Question, I know this holds 5 rounds. Do they come with a magazine replacement or some kind of plug for the tube to bring it to 3 rounds for hunting? I ask cause the spring is attached to that lovely brass rod.

    You can order a new inner magazine tube from Henry and pin it yourself. Keep the original just in case. They sell for less then $25USD. I phoned Henry and got one, no problem.
