Pretty sure this is going to be the dumbest thing I read all day....and i just got up !!....dude, cool your flow, if your head isn't in the clouds....you would know 1. bcl's are really only in 308 right now....they will come with all the common calibers first until...and even then.....i think you're the only guy that will buy it in something useless you can't find ammo for...but thanks for the chuckle !

I agree it would be very cool. You can use commonly available 460 S&W dies. You can make brass by just cutting off 30-06. Very cheap and easy to reload.

Then you have 65,000 PSI behind a 240gr .45 slug at 2650 FPS, with close to 300 win mag muzzle energy, out of a semi auto.
    holy fk!

wow... that would be insane in a semi auto.

.45 raptor? Umm ok and also please start offering the BCL102 In the .420 Pterodactyl as well. I just made it up but I’m sure mine will sell as many as the Raptor.

Jesus, the negativity in this thread is amazing!

Something in .45 Raptor would be the cat's azz for bush hunting. Maybe they'll get around to releasing a .358win option.

Canada....you are not allowed to want something. You need to follow the masses. Or you are racist.

Just some light hearted razzing friend. CGN is not a "safe space"
When I heard that the .450 Bushmaster existed I bought one in less than 1 hour. People will always have an appetite for calibers off the beaten path, and in this case, WAY off the beaten path.

Gentlemen... I've poked the bear so to speak... I spoke with a friend about the 375 raptor cartridge and he fell in love with it..
There is a 375 raptor reamer in the hands of an Alberta gunsmith... The only issue being had at the moment is dies are needing to be custom built for the 375... I fired what I believe is among the first rifles (a bolt action) in Canada chambered in 375 Raptor this afternoon.

And a site sponsor I just noticed has 45 Raptor starline brass "special order" listed on his site...

These cartridges are attainable in Canada ITAR be damned...
Please keep us posted on the progress. I have a second Stag 10 upper on the way with the intention of building a 375 raptor.

I was looking at the 45 VRAP, essentially the AR 15 version. You can get a custom barrel made for it, there are a number of custom barrel makers but I didn't jump on it yet. I don't know why people are saying this is ridiculous, you can form a lot of this brass from existing brass 45 VRAP from 308 brass. Challenge is getting things set up right, its certainly much more work. I'd love an AR 10 in 300 wsm, however there isn't the greatest track record for reliability of feeding and cycling plus you need to have a custom gas tube made for magnum cartridges.
