THE NIGHTHAWK DIFFERENCE:
One of the original big Four Custom 1911 manufacturers, with their "one gunsmith, one gun" approach has allowed Nighthawk Custom to take the M1911 pistol design that John Browning developed a century ago and hand build each one with the aim of increased accuracy and reliability. The slide to frame fit of one Nighthawk gun will not mate with the same allowable tolerances on another slide/frame Nighthawk gun. This hand fit, custom made approach with "one gunsmith" has optimized the reliability and accuracy of the 1911 design.
Nighthawk Custom has their Master Gunsmith build for international orders only and his build times are roughly 3 months right now! If you wanted to order a custom 1911 with specific options and upgrades, you would be looking at 3-4 months for delivery! (Down from 10-12 of a year ago)
