Cool New Spectre Ballistics Prototype Muzzle Brake - Let us know what you think

We've got a new muzzle brake in the works! The design is a ported style brake.

    Specifications:
    • 48 Ports
    • Stainless
    • O.A.L is 50mm
    • Diameter: 24mm
    • Weight: 80g
    • MSRP: Coming soon!

We have also developed a blast shield for this brake. The blast shield deflects the muzzle blast down range making shooting more enjoyable, while still giving recoil reduction.

What we would like to know from you is what calibers should be part of our first scheduled production run in November? Let us know below what you would like to see. 308, 223, 6.5mm etc...

We would also like to know what surface finish you prefer? We are considering nitriding like our Hex Brakes.

Update 10/25/2017: Prototype is in! Pics:

I would be interested to see a product similar to the Smith Vortex G6A2 SBV that is currently in use in CANSOFCOM.

It has an external M22X1 thread.

    1. Function over form. Don't care about looks as long as it keeps the muzzle flat. (looks good though)
    2. Blast shield excellent feature
    3. Fits IPSC brake dimensions
    4. If it's stainless any coatings are irrelevant to me

I had to look up the IPSC brake dimensions since I don't shoot IPSC. It is my understanding that this brake will work.

I love that it has a blast shield and wish we had more good brakes options, that were effective this way. Calibers .30 cal for sure, followed by 6.5 and .223.

Weight: 80g - Is this with the blast shield ? If not, what is total weight for the Muzzle brake + the blast shield ?
