Pretty cool, are the mags pinned? Also, how many mags come with it and are they available?
I got one of these guns and they are great.
The gun comes with 1 mag that holds 24 rds and the additional mags you can purchase only hold 22. No pins. They seem to be identical otherwise.
Gun build construction is on point. It's solid and feels like 'a real gun' in your hands without being needlessly heavy for the sake of being heavy. Full disassembly is a PITA but I only give my a good cleaning every couple thousand rounds.
I have put nearly 10k rounds through my gsg-15 and it cycles great. The odd ftf but I chalk that up to ####ty 22 ammo and not being cleaned very often. The gun is as accurate as I am and with a decent scope could probably make the 50yrd 1/2" challenge.
Thanks for the run down SigSauce, it's got me thinking even more about this!
i know that you aren't in general supposed to dry-fire 22's but can you dry fire the GSG-15?
I use mine on the 100 yrds range at my club with various bunkers and reactive targets. It's fun to shoot all day and with a NORC 3.5x scope I can clear house. It's surprisingly accurate for a semi and makes 100yards within a couple of inches. It requires high velocity ammo for consistency but other than a distaste for Remington Thunderbolt it's shot aces. My only complaint is thst I am buying more 22lr than I ever did before. It's a fun accurate blaster
