Stupid question: What does the stock on this thing weigh?

Not info we'd have available, it's not published info. It's the same polymer style stock as the Ruger American Ranch 5.56 variant, so not very heavy at all.

Any clue as to when you will have Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle, Black Synthetic, 5.56 NATO / .223 REM #5855 back in stock?

These guns are crazy light, I fondled the 450 bushmaster version and this caliber will definitely my next purchase.

unfortunately the 7.62x39 version comes with the famously unreliable (with milspec ammo) mini 30 magazine.

Really? I haven't heard of the 5 round mags being unreliable at all. I know the 20 rounders had trouble.
I've never had a problem with milspec in my mags - the biggest problem was just hardened primers sometimes requiring an extra punch or two

Primary Arms 1-6 ACSS w/ 7.62x39 reticle would be a good scope for this.
