    These are NON-RESTRICTED Semi-Auto only Belt Fed M-60s!! They are pricey be forewarned.... $21,575.00 I thought if I make that smaller it would have less of a gasp-effect..

    So if there was a version available in .22 then you could have as long as a belt as you’d like... right?

    what is the law on modern belt fed? Is it no more than 5 rounds linked or no more than 5 rounds at a time. I mean could you link together say 50 rounds but every 6th link be connected by a 308 snap cap?

    In my opinion only use 5 at a time. You can not load a 30 rd mag with 5 live then 1 snap cap followed by 5 live so why would that apply to a belt?

    I have never tried using WW II MG 34/42 belts in an M60, I know with some modification the MAG 58 can use them so that may be worth looking into.
