Weird, mine had a threaded barrel and the stock folded.
Suspect the barrel length not the same.

Just read the thread title, my mistake, mine was a 18.5" barrel.

Are there any significant differences between this rifle and the ISSC MK22?

Besides the MK22 having a muzzle device (lengthening the barrel, thus allowing a fold), from what I can tell, the MK22 has a Lothar Walther barrel and this an Anschutz barrel -- are the barrels comparable or is one notably different from the other?

(And how about w.r.t. the GSG-15? Just the stock? Any comments on ergonomics and function?)

    Thank you.

From what I know the the ISSC version is the lowest/cheapest, GSG is middle of the back and Anschutz is the best/most expensive.

Anschutz says they use their own barrel and trigger and parts of the bolt.

I had an ISSC and it was junk, could never get through a mag without 5 Fail to feed or fail to eject even with CCI ammo. Bought the Anschutz and it shoots like a dream.

I have one of these, and it is very accurate. Mine shoots sub-moa for sure. My only gripe with it is the trigger could be better. My son loves this firearm.

The ISSC is garbage compared to the Anschutz. Anschutz has a match barrel, better trigger. The ISSC has a crap barrel with a barrel shroud to make it look like a heavier barrel. Throw a decent optic on this and you can hit spent 22 brass at 50m all day long. I use CCI standard velocity rounds in mine and haven't had any issues.

    Hey NS,

Can you point me to a stocking dealer who carries the short body 10 round magazines, Ideally i'd like some factory 10 round ones but I'll take a 16 rounder blocked to 10 rounds.

    Thanks
