Combat Parka rated -40*C Canadian Eh!

Canadian Army Combat Parka, extreme cold - $149.95
The Combat Parka is now out of production so availability is limited.
The combat parka is winter rated to keep you warm at -40*C Nylon/cotton outer.
Removable, warm lining and lined hood.
Multiple pockets, drawstring waist and hem.
Has large Buttons and a Brass zipper that will open from the bottom as well.
The removable polyester liner has vents to allow for air to dry any humidity build up.
The Hood is removable and wool lined, has a copper wire so you can shape the rim to prevent wind and snow from entering.
There's a buttoned knit collar and knit cuffs on the liner to keep drafts from blasting down your neck or snow up your sleeves.
The two large Cargo pockets for carrying the Huge Mittens the army issues have a spill resistant fold so you don't loose smaller items if you tumble in the snow,
and two breast pockets that secure with big buttons the same way.
The Big buttons are made of a Protein base Paste so if you get stuck out in a survival type scenario you can scrape them down to make a protein shake.
Perfect for the middle of a Canadian winter. Made in Canada. An absolute treasure.
    Size REGULAR 5' 7" - 5' 10" LARGE Chest 42" - 46"
    Size TALL 5' 10" - 6' 2" MEDIUM Chest 38"-42"

I still have, and use, my parka from the military.

Since production no longer exists, I would highly recommend grabbing one of these. They are incredibly warm and comfortable.

You can see from my avatar that I live near S'nowin' Sound (LOL), in winter the off-lake near-gale winds that we suffer through during winter does nothing to penetrate this parka while I'm snow blowing.

Do you have a source on the “protein paste buttons” or is that a joke

    Trivia

Over time, unwary recruits were sometimes told that the plastic buttons on Canadian combat uniforms or arctic gear were edible "survival" buttons; these stories are of course nonsense.
