If other forums are to go by, he's likely saving himself the hassle of "How dare you use Remembrance Day as a sale day reason!" fiasco.

Careful how you word the sale, or you'll insult others by clearly making money off the dead.

There are veterans out there that are able to take advantage of the sale.

Disrepecting Canada by referring to it as Veterans day. Disrespectful to veterans by making money off them. This guy sounds like a pure goof.

I am a veteran (so were my parents and Grandfather) and I don't care if he wants to have a Remembrance Day or Veteran's Day sale. Good for him! If you don't like it, go elsewhere, you have that choice. And take the feigned insult and outrage with you.

    WTF?

I would have never thought about using the day for 'making money'... Who thinks like that?? If a shops want to have a sale to honour vets/etc, let them be.

I walked in Cabelas and saw they had an 'employee' pricing promo for Mil/Vet/LEO/Fire/Amberlamps... I bought more stuff sure, but I'd never feel bad about that.

    So......

Some aren’t interested in the sale.

You’re just here to voice your own opinion.
