Thread: Spectre Ballistics SKS Magazine Block - No more duckbill magazines!

    Great concept! Seems a lot easier than the megwedge G9 adapter way (unless you have to have 10 rounds), but probably have to spending some time on trimming each duckbill magazine.

    I watched one of the other video on how to trim the duckbill mag. If I understood correctly the duckbill magazines has to be custom trimmed to fit the rifle's magwell, which means once a magazine has been retrofitted to fit with one rifle might not fit nice and snug with another based on minor variation in the magwell spacing after the installation of this mag block & mag release combo?

    I hope I'm wrong though... looks like an awesome kit

    Some rifles with wood stocks need to have their mag wells adjusted to fit the mags, but this is very minor and can be done in a few mins with a bastard file or rasp. We have a lot of SKS's and our modified mags aren't unique to each rifle.

    It does not. AK mags don't fit in the rifle without significant and permanent modifications.
