Is there a way to have the threaded screw that holds te receiver together changed into a captured pin like the ar ?

I remember someone posting an alternative to that take-down screw, but I can't find it.

They should have from the start had a captured pin that went through the side instead of the bottom. It would have achieved the same and not required a wrench to take down
