I like skinner's barrel sights, but if I was building something like this custom, I'd go for an XS rear peep mounted over the bolt and a rail section where the skinner is....

I believe the idea behind the barrel mounted sight is consistent zero when taken down and reassembled.I like skinner's barrel sights, but if I was building something like this custom, I'd go for an XS rear peep mounted over the bolt and a rail section where the skinner is....

Shot placement is king; adequate penetration is queen. Everything else is just angels dancing on the heads of pins
The finish is on par with the ridge runner 45/70 , the action is smooth and is similar to its 44 mag brothers, the mag tube has a tighter fit and is slightly stiffer to turn .
