    Someone from Wolverine says they were refused at the Canadian side because it's a combat shotgun.

    Not sure on the wording of that or who you were speaking with, but shorty shotguns can be difficult to get out of the US as the US State department generally doesn't approve the export of them.

    Exact wording from Tony
    " supplier came back with this;
    This item has not been approved for Canada , in fact it was a flat out refusal. It is considered a combat shotgun, and is therefore not approved for sale in Canada "

    Interesting, I think the "for sale in Canada" should have read "export to Canada", the problem with 14 inch shotguns has always been one of US export approval, not of acceptance into Canada. We have to be very careful with the English language, change a word or phase and the whole meaning gets twisted into meaning something completely different.

    We have 12" and 8.5"(?) shotguns being importing into Canada so it's obviously not a problem on the canada side.

    The 8.5 & 12.5 are Chinese items. Anything under 16.5 from the US is a whole new ball game.
    The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

    And after 13 days with no response I'm supposed to just assume that you're looking into it? Don't paint me as impatient when it's soley due to your failed communication...
