Oal is just that, overall length. If a recoil pad counts towards oal, then so does a breacher or any screw on muzzle device. What it does not count towards is barrel length, which are two different things. As these are manufactured short barrel for pump actions, oal is the important part and not barrel length. Don’t get the two confused.

A flashlight or laser mount that could thread into the unused mag tube would be a good use for the empty space.

Any updates on sending an 870DM in for the mag tube haircut? And the turnaround time? Thanks!

That is a really good idea. You should work here, you'd fit right in ! lol

But seriously, it is a great idea, we will look into it and see if this would be possible with a modified action bar. As for the guns themselves Josef has been alone in the shop for the last 2.5 weeks that I have been in Europe. Now that I'm back we can get going on these and hopefully now that the official Kanadian distributor has stock we can make them a reality for you. . .

We swapped the factory 18" barrel on one of the new DM shotties with one of our 12.5" barrels..what do you think ? This was for a customer that called the shop and asked for it specifically to come with the hardwood stock set. I think it looks very retro-mod, like it.

Next up I am making myself a 10" version with some pimp parts. Stand by and I will post the pics in a few weeks.

You can go as short as 8.5” with a Mesa tactical ar stock kit and still be over legal OAL at is shortest. I have on on a 12.5” grizzly and it’s shortest OAL is 30.5” iirc.

OK. We got the first prototype 10" version done. I had to use a left over breacher barrel from a LE contract we had, (it was the only 10" I have in stock.) The butt stock adapter is Mesa Tactical and the hand guard is our brand new version for the 10" & standard size (with spacer) action bars.

What do you guys think ? BTW, we will be at the CPRS match on Sunday in Merritt and will be bringing this and some other guns with us to show off. If yo are close then swing on by, we'd love to talk to you in person.
