NEW AR-15 Forends @ Dlask Arms Corp.

We ordered these on a whim (along with some other product) to see if the quality was good. These are the same ones we used a few weeks ago to make our complete upper receivers. Because the response was so positive from customers that bought them we decided to place another large order. This time we got all of the available lengths : 7", 10", 12", 15" & 17". Some we are saving to make more uppers so get the remaining units while you can.

    Found here :

Light. I'm not sure exactly because our shipping scale doesn't go that low. (It only measures kilos, sorry)

No Sir. It is a proprietary barrel nut but has the same tabs as a standard nut for using an AR wrench to install it. Good system, in fact a GREAT system for the $. I have made 12 complete uppers so far using different lengths of these and they all assembled beautifully.

    Thanks

They come with the nut, then, I'm assuming.

Yes they do, and 2 rail sections, Allen keys and 2 shims for indexing the barrel nut.

Newb AR owner question: Will they work with S&W M&P 15 Sport II? Do they have the metal heatshield?

You'll have to hack down the factory gas block, or put a low profile one on it.

I put a very similar one (Also Chinesium) on my M&P, and I just butchered the factory gas block. I'm a machinist, and I've worked as a metal fabricator, so I'm pretty comfortable with a grinder. Not that it's that difficult though. The easier route would probably be just buying a low profile gas block.

    15 or 17" for a 20" barrel ? I'm leaning to 15. I'm not scared of 5" of exposed barrel I don't think
