I agree with you on PR's position... My criticism is towards the manufacturer and their pricing policy...

This. Their 1911's used to be best buy' s but have climbed in price to the point that I no longer see the value. At near $3k for a Valor you're into semi-custom territory. I see this revolver the same way, though admittedly there is less competition in the revolver market.

I'd say the Valor is legitimately in, or close to, semi custom territory, but yes 3 k for some of those variants is a little steep.

I bought a LB to replace my DW Bruin. Still haven't been able to bring myself to sell the Bruin. It is an impeccable package.
