heavy .44 caliber would be great, and maybe some 285-ish grain .366 would be handy.

8mm (.323) and 9.3mm (.366) would be good. Lots of people use those for larger and more dangerous types of game. Might be good for that?

.429 and .458 would be cool. Big and flat.
