    I really doubt you can get higher BC from a copper projectile vs a lead core one
    whereas consistency is a manufacturer thing. No guarantees there.

    ogive geometry is not a copper thing

    To all the yahoos asking for copper slugs and “replica” bullets for .45-70, 44mag, 8x57

    The “plentiful” load data you are looking at is wrong. The copper bullets are different (bigger) dimensions than lead.
    They have more friction, engage rifling differently, take up more space in the cartridge. Proceed with caution.

    I’ve loaded for lead and copper, copper can be fickle. On the other hand it can deliver outstanding results.

    Wow great to see 50bmg and 408 are on your list.
    But I shoot 9 and 223 10-20x more than other caliber.

    These things are gonna be expensive.

    So shooting allot of them will probably be prohibitive to most.
