Hate to quench the enthusiasm, but I bought one through IRG almost four years ago. The verdict, delivered third hand (RCMP refuses to answer my attempts to communicate): prohib. I'm down $600+ until a court decides otherwise.

Against IRG, or against the RCMP?

You could also challenge the ruling in court. They have been defeated before once the RCMP has to be assessed against the hasselwander precendent, judges have, in the past, sometimes ruled that a milling machine or TIG welder does not cnstitute "ease of conversion"
Keeping it real on the range since before there was a CGN.

Good luck fighting the rcmp in small claims court. You bought and imported. They were part of that civil financial agreement. Small claims has no criminal or firearms act jurisdiction.
