Manufacturer has proposed some alternative rail designs, what do you guys think?
5 or 6 look the most appealing to my eye. This system still isn't clear to me, it needs tools for removal to clean the gas system correct?
Sisu - The will of the Finnish people to overcome against impossible odds.
You need a Allen wrench to remove the top. Loosen 4 set screws and slide the top forward and lift up. The lower rail can stay attached. The upper has recesses that the set screws (in the lower) tighten into so the zero of any top mounted optic should be somewhat repeatable. I have not tested that repeatability yet though, I will do so this summer.
5 and 6 looks like find the 7 differences game.
they also are the better looking.
Honestly I like the overall rifle and want just something simple on it, if their was anyway to just add a small mount just where the existing sight is on the top between the charging handle and the front guard like a red dot would be great other than that I wouldn’t find myself doing anything else to it
