The rear sight/rail mount option is a no brainer for sure.... they should collaborate with Magpul for a backpacker option.....

Our Government trusts rivets more then law abiding gun owners.
The only stumbling block for a after market stock is the mag well , being part of factory stock , I wouldn't think it'd be cheap to replace .Originally Posted by Can-down

We know there is a lot of interest in this rifle if we could produce a non-restricted version. Our product team is currently reviewing design and options – we certainly hope to be able to offer a “Canadian” configuration. Once finalized, we will immediately provide full details to distribution chain in Canada.

I emailed Ruger and received a similar response.
If everyone on this board who is interested in this rifle contacts Ruger asking for a NR version it should increase our chances of it actually happening.We are currently looking at non-restrictive options for Canada for this model. We appreciate your comments and have passed them along.
