This is interesting because the upper uses an AR10 barrel extension

giving a 11,000 psi advantage over cartridges like 458 SOCOM

not sure why it wouldn't be able to operate at 60,000 psi like 308, etc.

I was wondering that too, maybe they meant CUP not PSI?

The Remington 30 AR has a max pressure of 55,000 psi and I run that on a custom made AR 15 size bolt in my ACR. It was also proof tested well over the 55,000 max psi.

There is no reason why a 308 can not be made to run on a smaller platform like the AR15, here is the proof.

What I meant is what is the difference from the hammer to socom? Longer case, larger diameter or just more powder?
    Not much info on it....

Weird, they claim it hits harder than the 450, but it is 2200fps and 2700ftlbs in a 260gr

Fun fact I just learned: You can reload 45-70 gov't with 458 Socom bullets. They are the same diameter. For testing purposes, I'd love to try out some
