    I'd bet you could buy a used GBL and have dlask fab up a short barrel and still be under the cost of one of these...

    Marlin is strange when it comes to trapper length barrels, there is a demand but they seem reluctant to offer it.
    Back when they were still selling the 39's they could have sold a boat load of trappers but just couldn't be bothered for some reason?
    Our Government trusts rivets more then law abiding gun owners.
