The stock is wood, painted black.

    Any updates?

I’ve heard of a few trickling in at different vendors.

[QUOTE=Can-down;14532946]Interesting decision to go with no optic mount, I guess they wanted to make it different from the SBL, I wonder what the stock is made out of?

The receiver is has 4 holes drilled and tapped, could mount a pic rail and optic or mount the longer XS rail system. Personally I dont think you can beat those skinner sights.

    Cheers!!

Throw Williams 336 peep on it and good to go.

I took mine out this morning and sighted it in while I was running some bear bait. 53 grains of h4895 behind a 405 hardcast put five rounds into 1.75”. That’s far from proper load development but it’ll work for this month. It loads, feeds and ejects perfectly. I don’t like that big loop lever but that’s a minor nitpick and easy to change. The skinner sight works very well, better IMO then the XS peep with a fiber optic front sight.
