    Hmmm.

My M96 Swede Mauser has a 1:7.78 twist rate. Might give it a try and see, it handles 156gr's well enough.

i am looking at all these new super 224 bullets and trying to figure out which one could be stuck into a 224 Valkyrie

I can't wait to build a 18" SPR that can go supersonic at 800m!

We know that Federal is loading the Sierra 90gr MK into the Valkyrie... I would expect the Berger 90gr VLD will also fit.

Not sure the 95gr MK will though????

Certainly all the 80 to 82grs will and they will have no problem with the 800m supersonic spec

Looking at the BC of the 90gr, maybe it will still work well with 18" if it can do 2550 fps. The higher BC of 90gr will still better the 80gr.

Someone please break the 300gr barrier in .338 so the b.c. can soar to new heights. A 320+ grain bullet would be incredible in the .338 Norma. Waiting patiently.
