    These are an inexpensive pair of Nikon P series rings. 1.6" where you can see I measured from. $45
    I wanted a one piece mount but this "Bug Buster" scope has too short of a tube. I was planning on putting a Warne mount on it and a better optic but this working for now.Name:  15278251603851205057493.jpg

    Cool, thanks. Looks like my mount will be 0.1" higher so it should work out okay.

    Question about the spring rod when reassembling. Does it always find it's way into that little hole in the opaque looking plastic piece at the end of the butt stock? It's near impossible to look once the rest as made it's way in. Doesn't seem to be much guiding it's path and it's kinda wobbly. What happens if it's not seated properly ?
