Has there been any reports on the precision these are capable of?

And they use AR15 spec buffer tube stocks, grips? The trigger is proprietary?

Anyone else get flashbacks to their misspent youth and potato cannons for some reason?

Havent shot one myself but by all accounts online they are pretty accurate. The bullet sits squarely (or i should say circley) in the end cap in the same position every time. Accepts all AR-15 buttstocks and grips but not sure on the trigger group(will look into it)

I just can't get over the scope mount. It's a scrawny piece of sheet metal stitch welded to the receiver. On a 50.

Yep. I'm with you. Nice to have an entry level $ option to get into .50 but the screw/unscrew would get old...

After 5-6 rounds wit a 50 I’m done, speed reloading wouldn’t be an issue for me as I’m not planning on engaging the Taliban anytime soon. I think it’s is a good option for an inexpensive 50 range toy. The takedown ability is pretty cool too for packing it in. From the reports ive read it seems a lot more accurate than some other much pricier options.
