How would you say the V4 glass compares to the previous HD5 models? HD5 advertised "T" coatings with LotuTec, I can't find any info on the new V4. The HD5 were made in Germany right?

can't go wrong with glass from Germany
That's for sure, brilliantly clear from stop-to-stop, and their German erector mechanisms are absolutely bulletproof. I wish my ATACR was nearly as good in this regard but it gives up these nice qualities with its overreaching adjustment range. Zeiss stays within parameters that take nothing for granted.
