    Seems like you guys called them episcopes to differentiate it from the periscope? Technically that's incorrect, they're both periscopes, but I could see how calling them different things would make life easier.

    I have gone on line and on numerous sites they refer to episcopes on tanks. Agreed not according to some dictionary definition but clearly refered to as episcopes. You know what they say if it is online it must be true

    I agree with Undergiver. We called them episcopes when using them especially for night driving.

    That was on the AVGP.
