I agree, best looking brake out there. Like to see some of the CGN armchair experts make it better.

    Hello Mr.Jeff

Sorry to let you know that we had to cancel the white colors that we were offering last year. After couple attempt we realized very fast that this color was not holding very well compared to all colors that we are using sine couple years. Cerakote changed twice the paint and still the white was doing the same problem. It's a beautiful color but it's a pain in the butt to try to maintain it nice looking. We didn't feel comfortable to sell a product that we knew the customer would be disappointed on the long run so we got rid of it for 2018.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hello Sir

There's multiple differences but to name a few:

    CDX-R7 Sheepdog/Shepherd

    - True Rem 700 clone. Same action diameter, footprint, trigger style, etc.
    - Short Action
    - 4 lug 50 degree bolt throw ultra-fast cycling. Fat bolt design, but doesn't require any rework on the trigger positioning like some of our competitor's action)
    - 1.250 " diameter barrel
    - And http://www.cadexdefence.com/catalog-flipbook/#page/24

    CDX-30 Guardian

    - Big heavy duty action 1.550" diameter. (keep in mind that some well-known action maker makes its 408 CT actions at 1.45" and 1.60" for this very powerful caliber)
    - XL size action, even for the short action calibers. Bolt stop controls the bolt stroke.
    - 3 lug 60 degree bolt throw. TRG style bolt design (bolt rides on its lugs)
    - 1.350 " diameter barrel
    - Must use Cadex single or double stage trigger (for a perfect fit with the safety mechanism)
    - And lots more. For more info on our actions please refer to the following page (s) :http://www.cadexdefence.com/catalog-flipbook/#page/22

Also, be advised that for 2018 all Cadex actions (except the Kraken) are available separate.

We are currently working with McMillan and Manners to provide them our inlet pattern and they will adapt their stocks to the Cadex actions:

    - CDX-R7 Sheepdog (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 6mm Creedmoor, 260 Rem, 6.5 CM, 6.5x47 Lap, 308 Win)
    - CDX-R7 Shepherd (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 300 Win Mag, 300 Norma Mag, 338 Lapua Mag, and soon 338 Norma Mag)
    - CDX-30 Guardian (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 6mm Creedmoor, 260 Rem, 6.5 CM, 6.5x47 Lap, 308 Win)
    - CDX-300 Freedom (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 300 Win Mag)
    - CDX-33 Patriot (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 300 Norma Mag, 338 Lapua Mag, and soon 338 Norma Mag)
    - CDX-40 Shadow (currently available from the factory in the following calibers: 375 CT and 408 CT)
    - CDX-50 Tremor (currently available from the factory in the following caliber: 50 BMG)

We are also about to launch a complete line-up of bottom metal to complete this project. So now if you are looking at a new top end custom build and that Cadex doesn't chamber in your preferred wildcat caliber, that you like a chassis system or not, we have a solution for you.

I hope that it answers your questions. If not, send a message to patrice@cadexinc.com or call my cell phone at 514-821-7983 and I will help you one on one.

The Cadex brake is by far the best I have ever used. I have it on a 300 win mag and it’s night and day. It’s reduces a 72 grain load shooting a 208 bullet to 22-250. No joke. Too bad they seem never to review it in the articles.

Thanks for the good words on our brake.

The great news is that this winter we bought a new 5-axis machine capable of a faster production rate and the benefit is that we dropped the price a lot on these (70.00 $ less on the MSRP). The MSRP is now 199.95 $ and you won't find any brake on the market as effective for this price point.

This brake turns a 338 Lapua 300 grain hot load into a felt recoil of about a 243 Win. It pushes the pressure sideways so that the blast doesn't affect the spotter, while pushing down in order to control the muzzle jump. The result is an excellent stability and maintained sight picture (point of aim) for easier following of the bullet vapor trail and splash. I personally think that it looks amazing, but it's a questions of taste and preference I guess.

Once again, thanks for sharing your opinion on this top of the line tactical muzzle brake.
